Woman comes into our store and places an order for a very nice and expensive laptop. Laptop has to be ordered so customer leaves and returns in a few days when laptop arrives. Pretty normal so far.
Customer demands we show her the laptop before she takes it home. We show her the laptop, she removes the protective plastics and plays on it. She is very happy and leaves with the laptop.
The next day she returns the laptop, telling us the screen was broken when she opened the box. We know this is not true, because she demanded she open the laptop in front of us the day prior. My manager of course will not refund the laptop.
So here we go again, Papers for court.
However this time we don't actually go to court, we find out a few days later that her roommate SAT on the laptop. Cracking the screen. Roommate had to pay for screen replacement. Now if your going to lie about something, at least take it to another store where the employees don't KNOW your full of it.
Charges were dropped.
