Day one of my very first job, I was hired as a screw turning tech at a local computer store for the summer. The first computer I am given is one that nobody else will touch. Work order reads
- Computer smells funny
I open up the computer and find SOMETHING Dead cooked to the CPU. This something was a rat. Not one of the cute home rats. I'm talking near cat sized big honking mother rat. There were what appears to be years of rat dropping in the computer. HOW this rat got into the computer I do not know. HOW the owner did not notice, I do not know. My only guess is that the rat entered when it was a baby and grew inside, living off roaches or something.
Some people might have taken this as an Omen to get the heck out of the computer industry. I didn't take the suggestion I guess.
